Program for Nordic Mass Spectrometry Conference

Tentative programme:

On Sunday there will be two short courses for newcomers in the field from 14.00

Per Ola Rønning: “The wonderful world of mass analyzers”

Elisabeth Leere Øiestad: “Method development with a focus on LC-MS”

The short courses will be followed by user meetings from our vendors.

The formal opening of the conference starts in the early evening on Sunday with a plenary lecture at 19.00.

From Monday through Wednesday we have invited the following speakers so far :

Leon Reubsaet:  “Smart sampling for LC–MS-based protein determination from dried matrix spots”

Caroline Tokarski: “How advanced mass spectrometry and chromatography are reshaping what we can learn about paintings, objects and cultural heritage”

Hanne Rødberg-Larsen: “Investigating the health effect of PFAS using organoids and mass spectrometry”

David C. Muddiman: “Quantifying Molecular Landscapes by Leveraging Stable Isotopes in Mass Spectrometry Imaging”

Robert Kronstrand: “The versatility of mass spectrometry in forensic toxicology: from volatiles to NPS, and towards biomarkers”

Additionally we have exciting talks from the mass spectrometric community around Norway.

A compendium will be handed out at the meeting, and will be digitally available before the meeting.
